I have been teaching Special Education in ISD#197 at Heritage E-STEM Magnet School since 2014, in the Lower Maroon 7/8 house. I have been in education for 5 years, prior to coming to ISD#197, teaching Special Education in Medford, MN and before that subbing in several districts.

I grew up on a pig farm in Oakland, MN and attended Austin, MN High School, being involved in football, NHS, and track. I attended Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU), receiving my BA in History and my Social Studies teaching license. I also played football at SMSU for 5 years and was involved in Mustang Special Education Rodeo and the weight room/fitness center. I also attended Minnesota State University-Mankato (MSU-Mankato) and received my Special Education teaching license.

In my free time I enjoy being with my wife Sarah, our daughter Lyla, our identical twin boys Avery and Elias, and our youngest son Oliver. I also enjoy watching MN sports teams and reading.
